Finish woodwork for Desert Cafe, Santa Fe, NM
Hiroshi Sakaguchi adapted the Japanese aesthetic sense of elegant simplicity to the Desert Cafe, a Santa Fe restaurant. The wooden entrance door, constructed by Sakaguchi-san, was made of solid cherry panels framed by Port Orford cedar. Various interior works included the entrance room, booths, and counter. He also designed the tables for the restaurant. (The Desert Cafe is no longer in operation.)
